Hydro Floss® – Hydro Floss® Pro
6% bleach (ex. La Javex tm) 5ml in 1200ml of boiled water. Dakin’s solution can be used 1 to 2 times a day, always taking care to protect the skin and then rinsing it with cool, boiled water. This preparation should not be used regularly and chronically, as it could possibly delay healing. There is an alternative chlorine-free preparation.

Measure 1 liter (4 cups) of tap water into a clean pot or pan. Boil water for 15 minutes with the lid on the pan. Remove from heat. Use a clean measuring spoon to add half a teaspoon of baking soda to the boiled water. Allow solution to cool completely with the lid on the pot before using. HH-V-278.
